How far is the campsite from the shops?

The campsite is located 500 m from the shops of Torreilles and 1km from the supermarket.

How far is the campsite from the bicycle paths?

The nearest bicycle path is 100m away.

Where is the nearest train station?

The train station of Salses-le-Château is 16km away.

The train station of Perpignan is 20km away.

Where can I find the nearest airport to the campsite?

You will find an airport in Perpignan, Sud de France which is located 22 km from our campsite.

Where can I find the list of markets?

Pitches

What are the check-in and check-out days for pitches ?

For campsite pitches, from May to June, arrivals and departures are possible every day of the week with a minimum stay of 1 night. In July and August, arrivals and departures are only on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and stays are only on a weekly basis, depending on the pitch categories:

Basic and Classic Pitch: Wednesday – Friday – Saturday – Sunday

XL Pitch: Saturday – Sunday

Privilege Pitch: Wednesday – Saturday – Sunday

What is the check-int and check-out time ?

For campsite pitches, check-in is available from 2 PM. For any late arrivals (after 8:00 PM), please inform the campsite by calling 00334 68 28 09 47. Check-out should be completed by 12 PM. You can choose the paid option “Early check-in” and “Late check-out” by sending us an email at [email protected] if your stay is before July 5th, 2024.

Is it possible to arrive outside of the reception’s opening hours?

If you arrive outside of the reception’s opening hours, you can obtain all the necessary information to access the campsite from our agent located at the entrance of the campsite. We recommend contacting us in advance to inform us of your arrival time. Please also provide us with your vehicle’s license plate number (entrance and exit from the campsite are monitored by license plate recognition).

What type of electric plug are available on the pitches ?

Our pitches are equipped with 10A European sockets.

Is it possible to rent a fridge for campers?

Fridge top : 8€/night (if available). We recommend to take this option before coming.

Fridge/freezer : 12€/night (if available). We recommend to take this option before coming.

Do we have water access on pitches ?

Only the Privilege pitches are connected to the water supply.

Are there pitches for campers and motorhomes?

All our pitches can accommodate motorhomes. A dumping area is located at the entrance of our campsite.

What is the difference between a Basic and a Classic pitch ?

The Basic pitches are located either on the edge of the boulevard or far from the common sanitary facilities. The Classic pitches are all located near the common sanitary facilities.

Do your accept ACSI card ?

We accept the ACSI member with ACSI card.

Rentals

What are the check-in and check-out days for rentals ?

For rentals, from May to June, arrivals and departures are possible every day of the week with a minimum stay of 3 nights. In July and August, arrivals and departures are only on Saturdays and Sundays, and stays are strictly on a weekly basis.

You can do your check-in at the campsite from 9 AM to enjoy the facilities until the keys are handed over, which begins from 5 PM. Your vehicle will be parked within the campsite, and the common sanitary facilities will be available to you. You can choose the paid options “Early Check-in” and “Late Check-out” by sending us an email at [email protected] if your stay is before July 5th, 2024.

Should we make a check-out appointement ?

The day of your departure, you must return the key of your accommodation no later than 10 AM. There is no check-out appointment.

What is the procedure ?

1- Clean your rental following the procedure provided HERE and received by email before your departure.

2- Return the keys directly to the reception no later than 10 AM. Any delay will result in a charge of 20€ for each 15 minutes exceeded.

3- Your credit card imprint will not be used if the departure condition is in accordance with the initial condition. In case of non-compliance, you will be notified by email within 48 hours after your departure.

I am staying in a mobil-home, do I have access to the common sanitary facilities ?

The common sanitary facilities are dedicated to families who have booked a classic, basic, or XL pitch.

Is it possible to rent a baby equipments?

You can rent for 2€/day/item: baby bed, baby bed sheets, child bed barrier, high chair, bathtub (if available). We recommend to take this option before coming.

Are sheets and towels provided?

Sheets and towels are provided for the Luxury range at no extra charge. You have the possibility to rent your sheets at the rate of 20€/bed (change in extra).

Is the mobile home equipped with a television?

The accommodations of the Comfort, Privilege, Prestige and Luxury ranges are equipped with television. If your accommodation does not have a television, you can rent one for 56€/week (if available). We recommend to take this option before coming.

Is the mobile home equipped with air conditioning?

The Privilege, Prestige and Luxe accommodations are equipped with air conditioning.

Can I park a second vehicle near my mobile home?

The mobile homes Octalia, Cordelia and Taos have two parking spaces at no extra charge. If you don’t rent one of these accommodations, you can still park your second vehicle at the campsite starting from 3€/day.

What is the minimum number of nights for a rental?

In low season (May, June) you can book a minimum of 3 nights. In high season (July-August) you can book a minimum of 7 nights.

Do you have any accommodation for people with reduced mobility?

The mobile home Life is adapted to people with reduced mobility.

Do you have any accommodation for large family?

Our largest accommodations have a maximum capacity of 8 people (including babies).

Do you accept pets in the campsite?

Dogs are allowed in all accommodations starting at 3€ per day, except for the Faré, Kani, and Taos mobile homes. Pets are permitted, but the management reserves the right to cancel a reservation if the number or species of pets is deemed incompatible with the harmonious environment of the campsite. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed. Dogs and other pets should never be left unattended. They must not be left alone at the campsite, even when confined, as their owners are legally responsible for them. Dogs must have up-to-date vaccination records and are not allowed access to our aquatic area.

Pool

What are the opening hours of the pools?

Our pool area is open from 9 AM to 7 PM. Access is strictly reserved for campsite guests. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the pool area.

Are the pools heated?

Our pools are heated from 26/04/2024 to 28/08/2024.

Which kind of swimsuits are allowed in the pool area?

Long swim shorts, t-shirts, and wetsuits are not allowed.

Booking

Is it possible to choose your pitch or mobile home?

You have the possibility to ask for a specific location (extra charge of 40€) or to be placed side by side with another family (extra charge of 20€/family). Subject to availability.

Is it possible to pay in installments?

A deposit of 30% is required upon reservation. The balance can be paid in several installments and at the latest one month before your arrival. For this you can pay online the amount of your choice with your reservation number.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by credit card and bank transfer.

How can make my bank transfer?

You can make a payment by bank transfer, indicating your name, surname, and the date of your stay in the payment reference. Here are our bank details: IBAN: FR76 1660 7000 1718 0213 1515 936 BIC: CCBPFRPPPPG

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as we have received your payment. We recommend checking your spam folder if you haven’t received a notification yet. Please note that it may take a few days after your bank transfer. We kindly ask you to wait before contacting us, respecting these timeframes.

When do I have to pay the balance of my reservation?

The balance of your reservation must be paid at the latest one month before your arrival.

Do I need to provide a deposit?

Each guest must provide a bank imprint before their arrival through the secure Payzen platform. Every guest will receive the procedure by email a few days before arrival. This step is mandatory for key handover. No imprints can be taken on-site.

Once you register your credit card, you authorize Camping Le Calypso to use it in the following cases :

  1. Departure condition assessment not in accordance with the arrival condition. In the absence of conformity, you will be charged for the cost of restoration and the value of missing or damaged equipment. An amount of 150€ will be retained if the accommodation or individual sanitary facilities have not been cleaned on the day of departure.
  2. Damage or dirt on: the pitch, sanitary facilities, rented equipment, common facilities, etc. (non-exhaustive list).
  3. Nighttime disturbance (100€ per nighttime disturbance).
  4. Unpaid stay amount at departure.
  5. Borrowed equipment not returned.
  6. Late departure: 20€ for each 15 minutes exceeded.

What does cancellation guarantee and the flex option?

How to modify or cancel a reservation?

To cancel or modify your reservation, you must inform us by email at [email protected]. Without subscribing to the cancellation guarantee or the flex option, the amount of the stay cannot be reduced. You can find more details by clicking here.

What is the Early check-in option?

Until July 5th, 2024, you can arrive from 2:00 PM for rentals (instead of 5:00 PM) and from 11:00 AM for pitches (instead of 2:00 PM). This option can be subscribed to by email only at [email protected]. The cost is 50% of the price of the first night and is subject to availability.

What is the Late check-out option?

Until July 5th, 2024, you can check out as late as 5:00 PM for rentals (instead of 10:00 AM) and 5:00 PM for pitches (instead of 12:00 PM). This option can be subscribed to by email only at [email protected]. The cost is 50% of the price of the last night and is subject to availability.

Practical information

Am I allowed to bring guests such as family or friends to the campsite?

Visitors are not allowed to enter the campsite.

Is it mandatory to wear the bracelet?

Wearing a bracelet is mandatory during the whole stay from 2 years old.

Services

Is there a laundry in the campsite?

The campsite has two laundry rooms (4 washing machines and 3 dryers).

Do you have an electric charging station for electric car inside the campsite?

At the entrance of the campsite, a charging station is available for 2 vehicles simultaneously. Tesla supercharger is available at 15 km avay from our campsite.

Is there wifi in the campsite?

You can enjoy free wifi on the terrace of the bar and unlimited in the whole campsite from 4€/day. In the accommodations of the Luxury and Prestige ranges you will find a WIFI connection without extra charge.

Are barbecues allowed on the campsite?

Only gas barbecues are allowed on the pitches. A common barbecue area is provided for campers (electric barbecues are not allowed). Barbecue grills are available for free at the reception.

Is it possible to privatise the campsite for corporate events or private events ?

It is possible to privatize the entire campsite or a part of it. You could find more information by clicking here. To inquire about this, you can send your request to [email protected].

Who can have access to the coworking space and is it free ?

The coworking space is only accessible to individuals aged 18 and over who are staying at Calypso. They must be registered on the reservation. This access is subject to a fee and provides you with a workspace equipped with high-speed internet access.

Entertainment

When does the entertainment start at the campsite?

You will be able to find all our family activities from June 24th, 2024.

What type of entertainment the campsite provide?

Every year, the activities are different, although there are some regular favorites. We offer up to 25 activities per day during the summer.

Children’s activities: various entertainment (face painting, role-playing games, etc.), wooden games, color run…

Junior activities: various entertainment (fashion designers, photo contest…), gyroball, mini-golf, sports tournaments, rodeo…

Teen activities: sports tournaments, outings and meals for teens, Koh-Lanta (an adventure game), pool games…

Adult activities: sound journey, stretching, jogging, sports tournaments, petanque tournament, aperitif games, musical ambiance…

Evening entertainment: hypnosis, bingo, petanque, Calypso show, cabaret…

Do you provide a free kids club (4-8 years)?

In our 5 star campsite, the children’s club is available for children from 4 to 8 years old and is free with a subscription before starting the activities.

Do you provide a free junior club (9-12 years)?

In our campsite near Perpignan, the junior’s club is available for children from 9 to 12 years old and is free with a subscription before starting the activities.

Do you provide a free teen club (13-17 years)?

The teen club is available for teenagers from 13 to 17 years old and is free of charge.

Shops & Catering

Are there any shops in the campsite?

You will find a grocery store, a snack bar/pizzeria and a bar/ice cream shop on the campsite.

What is included in the half-board?

The half-board option includes either breakfast/lunch or breakfast/dinner and is available at the restaurant from 1 day and starting in May.

Breakfast: a self-service buffet with bread, pastries, fruit juice, hot beverages, cereals, and fresh fruit. Optional extras available on-site (eggs, ham, cheese, etc.).

Lunch or Dinner: for adults, you can choose between an appetizer and main course, main course and dessert, or dessert and main course. You can select a dish from the restaurant’s menu or the snack menu, up to a maximum of 15€, and one beverage of your choice (except cocktails). For children, the menu includes a main course, dessert, and a drink.
